10" (25 cm.) Felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial features, eyes sculpted to appear as though he is winking with painted blue left eye nearly shut, painted lashes and eyeliner, "dash" brows, rounded nose with accent dots, closed mouth with accented bottom lip, stitched-on large ears, black fleecy silk hair, jointing at shoulders and hips with large hands, flat bare feet. Condition: generally excellent, moth hole at back of cap. Marks: (rare original silver button at jacket back). Comments: Lenci, the winker model, #121, was introduced during the mid-1920s, and presented in various costume color combinations, always barefoot. Value Points: especially well-preserved with purple felt cap, black jacket, brown pants with tan patches, shirt, belt, red neck scarf, rare early model to find especially in this fine state.
