12" (30 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head, blue glass paperweight inset eyes, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with center accent line, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig in side-coiled braids, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: S 4 H 949. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1885. Value Points: charming petite closed mouth doll with choice bisque and painting, original wig, original body and body finish.
