13" (33 cm.) Solid domed bisque head with flat-cut neck socket that accommodates to composition neck dowel of torso, sculpted short curly baby hair with well-defined tendrils of curls, large blue glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted curly lashes, tinted brows, rounded nose, open mouth, heart-shaped upper lips, two porcelain upper teeth, composition baby body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 125 2 1/2 Germany. Comments: Marseille, circa 1928. Value Points: wonderful sculpting of the rare wide-eyed character.
