Bisque socket head, amber brown glass paperweight inset eyes, painted black lashes, black brush-stroked brows with lustrous patina, closed mouth with coral shading, accented nostrils, pierced ears, black mohair wig over cork pate, French black composition and wooden fully jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 6 (incised) Depose Tete Jumeau 6 (stamp). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1885. Value Points: rare transitional model with beautiful golden amber eyes, rich ebony complexion with flawless lustrous patina, original body and body finish, fine antique costume including woven straw bonnet and leather shoes.
