23" (58 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, mohair lashes, painted lower lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, four outlined lips, dimpled chin, pierced ears, brunette hand-tied human hair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: SH 1039 Germany DEP 10 1/2. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1900. Value Points: the little girl has original wig, body, body finish, and is wearing original folklore costume with especially beautiful embroidery on apron and stockings.
