14" (36 cm.) Bisque socket head with very plump rounded face, blue glass spiral threaded eyes with dark iris rims, thick dark eyeliner, rose blushed eye shadow, feathered brows, accented nostrils of tiny nose, closed mouth with accent lines on lips, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig on cork pate, French composition and wooden loose-ball-jointed body with flat-cut derriere, charming antique costume. Condition: bisque excellent, arms are French and appropriately sized but not original to body, original finish peeling on left leg. Marks: Sch (in shield, on head and derriere) 0. Comments: Schmitt et Fils, circa 1882. Value Points: especially beautiful face with richly painted features around the vibrant eyes.
