Description
4 1/2" (11 cm.) Amber-tinted all-bisque child has swivel head, brown glass inset eyes, painted lashes, single-stroke brows, closed mouth, black mohair wig, peg-jointed bisque arms and legs, painted above-the-knee black stockings and brown one-strap shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 2/0 (head) 1737/47/2/0 (original paper label on chest). Comments: Germany, circa 1890, attributed to Simon and Halbig. Value Points: beautiful little doll with fine complexion, original wig, and with rare original paper label.
