11" (28 cm.) Polychromed terra cotta shoulderhead of man, bald pate, amber complexion, enamel eyes, black goatee and curled tip moustache, closed lips, tow-wrapped posable armature body, carved wooden lower arms and legs, painted brown boots, blue stockings, wearing original costume lined green robe with faux fur trim shirt, harem pants, and "ruby" studded turban with velour banding. Excellent condition, some frailty to silk costume. Neapolitan, mid-1700s.
