10" (25 cm.) Bisque socket head with long-faced modeling, bright blue glass paperweight inset eyes, painted lashes, brush-stroked brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with center accent line, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body, wearing original coral silk and lace dress, silk bonnet, undergarments, stockings, rose shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: F.R. 2. Comments: Falck-Roussel, who registered his Bebe Mignon in 1885, the bebe having a distinctive facial model, circa 1885. Value Points: examples of the bebe model are rarely found, this example in rare petite size is especially charming, beautiful eyes, very fine costume.
