Description
8" (20 cm.) Blonde mohair wig in soft lush curls, blue sleep eyes, painted lashes. Wearing elaborate brocade gown embellished with pearl and gold beading, fur-trimmed purple velvet cape with elongated train which is decorated with metallic-edged medallion, gilt-metal framed purple velvet crown, gilt sceptre. Near mint condition. Vogue, 1953, the special promotional doll was issued to commemorate the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II and has been preserved in impeccable original condition, in original display case; few examples of this luxury model were made.
