11" (28 cm.) The gilded metal bird cage with loop handle and bronze-finish base has green velvet floor with bird perch decorated with leaves and berries, and with a feathered bird, which, when wound, turns it head side to side, flutters its tail and chirps a fine bird tune. Impressed on the underside "K.G." with logo and Germany. Generally excellent, functions well. Karl Griesbaum, Germany, early 20th century.
