Description
14" (36 cm.) All-cloth doll with pressed and painted facial features and hair, brown hair with forelock curls, painted hazel eyes with pronounced pupils, black upper eyeliner, accented nostrils, closed mouth, firmly-stuffed muslin torso and sling-jointed legs, composition ball-jointed arms, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent, few paint flakes at crown and back of hair. Comments: Germany, circa 1915, in the Kruse genre. Value Points: wistful-faced child has original painted finish, rare body style.
