Description
21" (53 cm.) w. x 24"d. x 20"h. The wooden fort, with hinged underside to access the hollow base used for storing accessories, has rough-textured paper mache finish to simulate rocky ground, or stonework of towers and walls, with clock tower (upper half of clock missing), painted windows, watch tower, walls, barracks, hinged drawbridge and other details and including two soldiers in armor on parade horses, and two additional soldiers. Generally excellent. Germany, circa 1900.
