Description
25" (64 cm.) overall length. A carved wooden horse with dappled flannel cover, bead eyes, and elaborate leather harness is posed upon a wooden base with cast iron wheels, and is pulling a wooden stake farm cart with wooden spoked wheels, which is stacked with a bounty of wooden barrels and cases. Excellent condition. Germany, late 1800s.
