14" (36 cm.) Of light brown muslin with stitch-shaped character features, painted lips and brows, glass eyes, mohair wig, stitch-shaped body with definition of dimples, separated fingers with real finger nails, stitched-fabric ears, wearing original silk gown (frail on skirt) undergarments, sewn-on shoes, jewelry including bracelets, earrings, beaded necklace, and holding a small cloth child, made in a similar manner. Condition: very good, surface soil. Comments: cloth folk doll, early 20th century, excellent detail of features such as tiny thread-beaded teeth.
