8" (20 cm.) diam. 9"h. Waist-up porcelain half-doll of nude lady with brown sculpted hair in side curls beneath an elaborate draped coiffe with gilt trim, her arms extended in a graceful manner. The half-doll is wearing a gilt metallic halter which is attached to a flared metallic frame designed to appear as her skirt, and which covers the porcelain vanity bowl. The bowl frame is incised "France" and "Bte SGDG Depose". Excellent condition. Dressel & Kister half-doll for the French market, circa 1920, the elegant lady is beautifully-fitted to the filigree gilt frame.
