15" (38 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head, blonde painted boyish hair with well-defined forelock curl, tiny blue glass sleep eyes, painted curly lashes, one-stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with downcast lips, composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body with side-hip jointing. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R S&H 115/38. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1912, their model "Phillip" was offered with either wig or this rarer painted hair variation. Value Points: outstanding modeling enhanced by fine luminous complexion, original body and body finish, great antique costume.
