Clay/composition head and hands, sculpted and painted facial features, white stiffened wig, blue eyes with heavy eyelids, closed mouth with downcast lips, cloth form torso, legs and arms. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Mary Branca. Comments: Mary Branca, the Chicago area hat designer and dollmaker, 1930s to 1960s, this model circa 1950. Value Points: depicted is Queen Victoria in her older years, wearing black silk and velvet gown with elaborate lace trim, crown jewelry, fan, and posed seated in silk-upholstered chair.
