Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate,cobalt blue glass enamel eyes,dark eyeliner,painted lashes and brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with accented lips,ears pierced into head,blonde mohair wig over cork pate,French kid poupee body with gusset-jointing at elbows,hips and knees. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 1 (head and shoulders). Comments: French,circa 1865,Value Points: beautiful bisque and very sturdy body,expressive features,lovely antique silk costume,undergarments,leather shoes,lambswool cap and muff,and bone-handled parasol with silk cover and fringe.
