14" (36 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, large amber-brown glass paperweight inset eyes, dark painted lashes, brush-stroked brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with outlined lips, pierced ears, original blonde mohair wig over cork kpate, kid gusset-jointed poupee body with shapely torso, stitched and separated fingers. Condition: generally excellent.. Marks: 4 (and artist check marks). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1880. Value Points: gorgeous large eyes, original wig and near mint original body, wearing original Jumeau chemise under her original well-detailed folklore costume with wooden sabots and "a deux bonjours" bonnet.
