26" (66 cm.) Standing at a wooden dressing table with bracketed mirror and inlay designs on the drawer is a bisque head lady, with brown glass paperweight eyes, closed mouth, beautifully-painted features, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, carton torso, wire upper arms, bisque forearms, ivory satin dress. The dressing table contains a number of toiletries and sundries. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Depose Tete Jumeau 6. Comments: Leopold Lambert, circa 1890, when wound, beautiful music plays, the lady turns her head side to side, and alternately raises her mirror or powders her nose. Value Points: especially fine quality of music, beautiful brown-eyed bisque bebe on the charming automaton.
