20" (51 cm.) Bisque shoulder head with very plump face,small cobalt blue glass inset eyes,pronounced dark eyeliner,lightly-feathered brows and lashes,accented nostrils,closed mouth with accent line between the lips,un-pierced ears,brunette human hair hand-tied wig over cork pate,kid poupee body with gusset-jointing at hips,knees and ankles. Condition; generally excellent,some repairs to kid body. Marks: B (?) S. Comments: Blampoix,circa 1860. Value Points: pretty antique burgundy and red gown with lace details,maroon silk ribbons,black and maroon feathered cap,undergarments,leather boots,and with woven reticule.
