11" (28 cm.) Bisque socket head with flattened solid dome, blue glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, and eye corners, closed mouth, accent line between the lips, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent, chip on left ear lobe at stringing hole. Marks: S H 4 949. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1890. Value Points: very dear petite size perfectly complements the sweet expression on the closed mouth doll, beautiful antique costume.
