15" (38 cm.) All wooden doll excepting pewter hands and feet, has well-defined carving of facial features and short ringlet curled hair, shapely torso with painted bodice and natural-finished lower torso, dowel-jointing at shoulders, elbows hips and knees. Condition: structurally excellent, original painted finish is worn away. Comments: American, Joel Ellis, circa 1875. Value Points: hard to find large size of the landmark American doll.
