18" (46 cm.) The parchment fans with fancily shaped crests have gilt-painted frames and fancily carved wooden handles, each with a different hand-painted design of birds on branches, with country garden and pond scene in the background. Excellent condition. French, circa 1870, very rare to find a matched set of fireplace fans in such well-preserved condition.
