9" (23 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass inset eyes, painted lashes, single stroke brows, closed mouth with center accent line, blonde mohair wig in original hip-length braids, paper mache five piece body with painted boots. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Sonneberg, for the French market, circa 1885. Value Points: the beautiful doll with rare original wig is wearing original communion costume and is presented in original blue box with lace paper edging.
