Bisque shoulderhead, blue glass inset eyes, painted lashes, single-stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, blonde mohair wig, muslin stitch-jointed body, bisque forearms. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 1044 2/0. Comments: Alt, Beck and Gottschalk, circa 1885. Value Points: rare model, the petite closed mouth doll is wearing multi-layered folklore costume, including coiffe, with original label "Gebr. Douwes Nationale Costumes Gamrak 69, Amsterdam" under skirt.
