14" (36 cm.) Porcelain shoulderhead with heart-shaped face, elongated strong throat, black sculpted hair waved away from her face with pronounced widow's peak and delicate feathering at the forehead, three-tiered hair coronet at her crown held by gilt-edged beading, and a loosely-braided chignon at her nape with further gilt-edged beading, painted downcast blue eyes, red and black upper eyeliner, single stroke brows, aquiline nose, closed mouth, muslin stitch-jointed body, porcelain limbs, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1860. Value Points: very rare model with superb detail of coiffure and artfully-shaped face.
