19" (48 cm.) Carved wooden socket head, brown sleep eyes, painted lashes, lightly-feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with row of painted teeth between the lips, brunette mohair wig, all wooden spring jointed body, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Schoenhut Doll, Pat. Jan. 17, ‘11 USA. Comments: Schoenhut, the sleep eyed model was marketed as "Miss Dolly", model 317, circa 1923. Value Points: fine all original painted finish.
