6" (15 cm.) Hip-up porcelain half-doll with 13-hole hoop-shaped base depicting 18th century lady, sculpted brown hair with topknot and elaborate side curls, blue ribbon hair band with two large bows, painted brown downcast eyes, sculpted bodice having pink ribbon trim on the sleeves and waist, pink cameo brooch, daintily-posed fingers on arms that are designed to be holding the cloth skirt, should a pincushion base be added to the figure. Marks: (blue stamp logo of crown over intertwined letters). Excellent condition. Germany, Aelteste Volkstedter Porzellanfabrik, circa 1910.
