19" (48 cm.) Bisque shoulder head of lady with sculpted brown hair waved from face into elaborately arranged coiffure that is lavishly woven with sculpted pink ribbons and bow edged with gilt, painted blue eyes, red and black upper eyeliner, single stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, pierced ears, muslin stitch-jointed body, kid arms with stitched and separated fingers, lovely ivory satin and lace gown. Condition: generally excellent, few paint rubs on hair ribbons at back of head. Comments: Germany, circa 1870. Value Points: lovely lady with rare coiffure, rare brown hair, and fancy hair ribbons.
