Description
12" (30 cm.) Paper mache head and torso with ebony black complexion, large black enamel inset eyes, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth, black fleecy wig, pin-jointed paper mache arms and legs, painted very fancy orange stockings and blue ankle boots with double rows of white buttons, original costume. Condition: very good with original finish, small nose rub, one piece chip and reglue at back neck. Comments: Germany, circa 1875. Value Points: rare wide-eyed model with wonderfully-painted boots.
