Composition shoulder head of chubby-faced girl with sculpted black hair in short bob and bangs, painted facial features, dark brown outlined eyes, painted curly upper lashes and short feathered brows, closed mouth with smiling expression and painted teeth, muslin torso and upper limbs, composition lower limbs. Condition: generally excellent, original finish with some light flaking. Comments: Amberg, portrait doll of the early film child star Baby Peggy, circa 1928. Value Points: rare early character doll with distinctive sculpting, original costume.
