17" (43 cm.) Bisque shoulder head of adult lady with slender face and elongated throat, sculpted blonde hair in elaborate arrangement with triple rows of coiled braids at the crown, and tiny spit curls at the forehead center, fully sculpted pierced ears, painted blue eyes, red and black upper eyeliner, single-stroke brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with center accent line, sculpted necklace with gold brooch, sculpted bodice with defined tucks and scallops and decorated by pink bows, muslin body, bisque lower limbs with curled fingers and fancily painted pink boots, lovely antique costume with flocked velvet trim. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1875. Value Points: beautifully detailed rare coiffure and fancy bodice on the rare to find lady doll.
