Pale bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate,blue glass inset eyes with darker blue outer rims,thick dark eyeliner,painted lashes,feathered brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with accented lips,pierced ears,blonde mohair wig,all-wooden carved and articulated body with dowel-jointing at shoulders,elbows,hips,knees,ankles and wrists,and with ball swivel waist. Marks: 2 (head) 2 E.B. (shoulder plate). Comments: Barrois,circa 1867 for Bru,the poupee has the deposed Bru wooden body with deluxe articulations. Value Points: most desirable poupee with original elaborate mohair wig,gorgeous gentle face,deposed Bru body,and wearing original white pique gown with braid and aqua silk ribbon trim,undergarments,kidskin slippers,earrings,and woven bonnet with aqua ribbons and velvet pansies.
