21" (53 cm.) Bisque shoulder head of lady with elongated throat, blonde sculpted hair waved from face and elaborately arranged, thick braid framing the face, ringlet curls at the crown above a narrow braids, and an unusual cluster of ringlet curls at the back of head, fully sculpted pierced ears, painted blue eyes with red and black upper eyeliner, single-stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, sculpted bodice with vertically painted green ribbon accents and scalloped collar, attached green jewel, muslin stitch-jointed body, bisque forearms, silk gown and costume. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1870. Value Points: rarity factors include very ornate coiffure, and unusually decorated bodice.
