19" (48 cm.) The tall narrow wooden bed has pencil posts that support a high tester, and layers and layers of mattress, blankets and lace covers. The bed has paint-grained finish and original pencil-striping around the frame, posters, and canopy with scrolled decoration at the canopy points. Excellent condition. Circa 1840.
