4 1/2" (11 cm.) Posed see-saw fashion on a wooden frame with internal bellows which "squeak" when pinched, are two colorful woolen plush birds with tiny black bead eyes, felt accents, and wire feet. When the bellows is squeezed the birds alternately pop up and down and chirp. With Steiff original silver buttons and rare white cloth labels. Excellent condition. Germany, Steiff, circa 1920s.
