Wooden frame with gracefully curved design, two larger spoked wooden wheels at the back, and two in the front, wooden handle, with original leather tufted seat, carpet floor, and leather sunshade; the carriage is painted original green with floral accents, and there is an original brass plate "Patented May 18, 1874". American, likely Joel Ellis. Excellent condition, rare to find with original patent date label.
