17" (43 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, large blue glass paperwegiht inset eyes, dark eyeliner, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with center accent line, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig, kid poupee body with shapely torso, wearing lovely silk and lace wedding costume with lace veil, floral coronet and corsage. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 6 (head and shoulder) Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Jumeau, circa 1878, the transitional poupee model was made with the larger eye socket size of the then-new Jumeau bebe. Value Points: pretty wide-eyed lady doll has lovely bisque, original very sturdy poupee body.
