Description
9" (23 cm.) Posed atop a cardboard candy box is a bisque head doll with cobalt blue eyes,painted lashes,brush-stroked brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with accented lips,carton torso,legs,bisque lower arms. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: the doll by Gaultier,commissioned by a luxury Parisian candy shop,circa 1890. Value Points: the little doll wears original costume of Parisian governess including coiffe,and carries a little bisque baby,and a tinier doll for the baby's amusement.
