20" (51 cm.) Bisque socket head with brown complexion, amber brown glass paperweight inset eyes with spiral threading, dark painted lashes, black brush-stroked and feathered brows, accented eye corners and nostrils, open mouth, row of teeth, pierced ears, black fleecy hair over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully jointed body, nice antique costume. Condition: generally excellent, little rub on nose tip. Marks: E 9 D Depose. Comments: Denamur, circa 1895. Value Points: fine gleaming patina on golden brown complexion, original body and body finish.
