Description
5" (13 cm.) Each is one-piece bisque head, torso and short stubby legs, painted forelock curls, painted facial features with curious up-glancing eyes, closed mouth, tiny hint of teeth, sculpted costumes, jointed bisque arms. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: c. Comments: designed by American illustrator Charles Twelvetrees, made in Germany, circa 1920. Value Points: ever-popular plump pair with very imaginative design.
