22" (57 cm.) Bisque socket head with fine matte bisque, dark blue glass sleep eyes in half-moon shaped sockets, fringe-painted upper lashes, one-stroke tapered brows, rounded nose with accented nostrils, closed mouth with petulantly shaped very full lips, impressed dimples at lip corners and chin, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R 114 57. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, the glass-eyed variation of their art character "Gretchen", circa 1912. Value Points: very rare variation of the art character has notable quality of sculpting enhanced by finest matte bisque, original body and body finish, and is wearing beautiful antique costume, bonnet, undergarments, shoes and socks.
