24" (61 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, thick brush-stroked brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with outlined lips, brunette mohair wig over plaster pate, composition and wooden early body with plump torso and limbs, straight wrists. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 15 (head). Comments: Kestner, circa 1885. Value Points: beautiful doll with fine luminous complexion, original wig, pate, body and body finish, very fine costume.
