Bisque swivel head on kid-lined bisque shoulder plate,narrow blue glass inset eyes,painted curly lashes,feathered brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with smiling expression,pale accented lips,pierced ears,brunette mohair wig over cork pate,French kid poupee body with square cut collarette,shapely torso,gusset-jointing at hips and knees,wooden arms with dowel-jointing at shoulders,elbows,and wrists,nice antique costume,bonnet,undergarments,shoes. Condition: generally excellent,wood finish original,albeit scuffed,on arms. Marks: E (head and shoulders). Comments: Leon Casimir Bru,circa 1872,the smiling model was deposed in that year. Value Points: especially pleasing smile with beautifully-painted bisque,original body with rare wooden articulated arms.
