Bisque socket head with flattened solid dome,bright blue glass inset eyes with spiral threading,dark eyeliner,painted lashes,feathered brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with outlined lips,pierced ears,blonde mohair wig,Sonneberg composition and wooden body with straight wrists,wonderful antique costume with lace bonnet,undergarments,leather shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 12. Comments: Sonneberg,circa 1884,the model closely resembles the Bebe Triste whose market the doll sought to capture. Value Points: very beautiful doll with dramatic blue eyes and appealing long-faced modeling.
