15" (38 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted curly lashes, short feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth modeled as lips slightly apart, outlined lips, painted teeth, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, pretty costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 183 (head) Germany (body). Comments: Kestner, circa 1910 from their art character series, this being the glass-eyed variation, Value Points: rare to find character with pleasing tentative smile, very fine bisque, original body and body finish.
