17" (43 cm.) Bisque socket head with light-brown "cafe-au-lait" complexion, brown glass paperweight inset eyes, black painted lashes, black brush-stroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils, open mouth, row of porcelain teeth, pierced ears, black fleecy wig over cork pate, French brown composition and wooden fully jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 7. Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1895. Value Points: very fine flawless complexion with lustrous patina, original body and body finish, original red woolen costume and cap, undergarments, red woolen stockings, red kidskin shoes from "A La Providence" boutique.
