Description
6" (15 cm.) The all-bisque doll has swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso, brown glass sleep eyes, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils, open mouth, four porcelain teeth, brunette mohair wig, peg-jointed bisque arms and legs. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: S&H 887 1. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1890. Value Points: rarer model, in superb original presentation, dressed in ruffled lace bunting and bonnet, and resting in superbly-fitted woven basket with silk cover, ruffled lace trim, and rose silk ribbons and bows.
